Final Concentration Portfolio

Concentration: Flower Viewing

Reflection
I concentrated on the perspective of someone who spends their day in focus of their surroundings, especially when their view is leaned more towards flowers and lovely sights.

Photo of the Week 5/26-5/30

Reflection
In this photo I decided it will be nice to show a memory of mine this past week so far. I've gone to Mission Bay to celebrate with others and there everyone had lots of fun and I enjoyed my day. I want to focus in on how a simple photo of what the photographer was seeing sets a lot of the atmosphere and mood that was happening in those moments. Notice how everything seems calm and relaxing as I'm looking out onto the water and the other side of the water. Wonderful can sum up everything included.

Photo of the Week 5/19-5/23

Reflection
This is such a nice view right? It's nice to be under the sky and see the entire view correct? Only thing is I'm inside a building in a history museum, this is how the sky would look if you were in Israel. Into noticing that what we see isn't what we assume or expect. This picture seems very realistic to be something it isn't. Great trick right! Things aren't always what they seem.

Photo of The Weekend 5/12-5/16

Reflection
Forgot this week I wanted to again focus on my sweet Rabbit. Who came up to me and asked with its cute face for something to eat. As you may notice he's looking straight at us, as to adorably say he's enjoying the treat. The angle in which it was taken also gives it a unique affect.

Photo of the Week 5/5-5/9

Reflection
In this photo I decided to use my younger sister, she's called Ruby and she's only five years old. I decided to use her this week because she's an important family member and someone I really care for. It's obvious in my motive to notice just by choosing to make her this week's photo it shows her importance in my life. I want others to notice my standing in trying to convey how above many things family has a very high standing in importance.

4-in-1 Portraiture

(Top Left)
Theme:Girly Girl
Lighting:Paramount/Butterfly

(Top Right)
Theme:Mysterious Stranger
Lighting:Split

(Bottom Left)
Theme:Spring
Lighting:Loop

(Bottom Right)
Theme:Casual and Comfy
Lighting:Rembrandt/45 Degree

Reflection
My favorite theme from these four was the Girly Girl because it looked great to cast my subject to dress in something she usually wouldn't dress in or with all these other accessories that were needed to convey this theme. It was fun for this was also the first set of theme pictures we were taking, to get the subject's cooperation and a good angle and lighting was difficult though a great learning experience.  My favorite lighting was the Mysterious Stranger Themed one, it was very great how the split lighting was able to get the character to seem dark, and it brings curiosity of who this character is.

Photo of the Week 4/29 -5/2

Reflection
In this scene, it was taken at a relative's home where they live at a pretty high point on a hill, it looks amazing and you can look out along at all the homes in the distance. It's very pretty the sight, I hoped to share this nice view and for others to see just how this point of view affects one astoundingly. Its all very nice to take in, reminds me as when one looks down after a hike up a mountain.

Photo of the Week 4/21-4/25

Reflection
In this photo what I had in mind was to take a photo that mainly has an interesting atmosphere and setting. In a common neighborhood, just as the sun is going down the sky turns into a blend of warm, inviting colors, like the soft blue, lightly tainted orange and the barely visible yellow. It has clear cut shapes though what I want others to feel and understand is it's calming atmosphere.

Photo of the Week 4/14-4/18

Reflection:
This is a photo taken in front of our school, though what makes it more interesting is the point of view it seems to make someone feel a lot smaller in this perspective. Like what we did in another term of objective in our class. In more detail I like how the bright sky makes the objects in the picture seem like shadows with their outlines cast deeply and etched with barely any color. The clouds seem to blur the sky in a foam of white that makes another small uneasily seen detail. The atmosphere appears calm and as if the sky is very welcoming.

Photo of the Week: 4/7-4/11

Reflection
In this photograph I have taken a photo on the subject of pattern/leading lines. Notice the brick floor is constructed on the same shape and pattern as background to give it a solid, simple affect. It's background color unlike the expected vibrant, dark, outburst of a red color. The background made of bricks has a shade that is a lot lighter and begins to have a hint of red, although seems very gray and gives it a neutral type color that goes well with the focus in the picture.
Extra Reading
The focus here is my pet rabbit, who has an incredibly sweet-nature, and is so lovable so I decided for my rabbit to be this photo's focus. By the way, this bunny is named Bunny, we weren't sure what to name it and decided to later, though we eventually stuck with calling it that and it felt awkward not to call it Bunny because it didn't feel and sound right to. You must be wondering what my rabbit is sitting next to, and what it is doing? Well it's next to my pet dog's bowl of food, it likes to climb in their sometimes and...eat my dog's food, yes this rabbit has acquired a taste for dog food. It's given vegetables and it's own food, though turns and hops towards my dog's food. It's his favorite thing to snack on. My dog doesn't mind he happily eats with Bunny and they eat together enjoying their meal, it's incredibly cute.
